Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration: Perform Unix system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of servers.
• Scripting and Automation: Develop and implement scripts for automation of routine tasks, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimal performance.
• Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect Unix systems against vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.
• Troubleshooting: Respond to and resolve system issues promptly, providing technical support to internal teams.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, including network engineers and software developers, to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident due to business needs.
• Must be open for a 2-year contract.
• Proven experience as a Unix Engineer or System Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Unix-based operating systems (Linux, AIX, Solaris).
• Experienced in Red Hat Linux administration
• Proficient in shell scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.) for automation.
• Experience with system monitoring tools and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of security best practices for Unix systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
