Job Description

The Applications DBA will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases and other related applications. The role involves ensuring that the databases and applications run smoothly, and any issues are resolved in a timely manner. This role will work closely with the DBA manager and development teams to ensure that the application meets the organization's needs and requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, manage, and maintain the Oracle application and databases.
• Perform cloning, patching, and code migration activities.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the application and databases, including performance tuning.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data protection and disaster recovery.
• Manage and maintain security for the application and databases, including user management, access controls, and data encryption.
• Collaborate with the development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders.

Your Profile:

• Singaporean Citizen due to business needs
• Good experience as an Applications DBA
• Knowledgeable in managing Oracle Golden Gate
• Skilled in PL/SQL
• Experienced with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Motivation to learn new technologies.
