- Audit Requests Coordination and Planning:
Serve as the main point of contact for all DGT/IT audit requests. Collaborate with DGT/IT departments to develop a comprehensive IT audit strategy, including timelines, scope, and necessary documentation.
- Auditors' Interface:
Act as the primary liaison for auditors, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the audit process.
- Maintain Audit Pipeline:
Create and maintain a schedule of audit requests for the upcoming year. Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize potential audit areas based on risk assessments and business goals.
- Assess Audit Scope:
Evaluate the scope of each DGT/IT audit request. Work with relevant stakeholders to determine the objectives, focus areas, and potential risks of each audit.
- Audit Effort and Resources Planning:
Analyze the requirements of each audit to estimate the necessary effort and resources. Coordinate with DGT/IT departments and the audit team to allocate appropriate resources based on the audit's complexity and scale.
- Audit Execution Tracking:
Monitor and track the progress of each audit, ensuring timelines and deadlines are met. Maintain accurate records of audit progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Issue Resolution:
Collaborate with DGT/IT teams and the audit team to address any issues or findings identified during the audit process, ensuring swift resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
- Stakeholder Communication:
Facilitate effective communication between auditors, management, and DGT/IT departments. Provide timely updates on audit planning, progress, and any potential issues or delays.
- Post-Audit Follow-up:
Maintain a log of audit findings for remediation. Follow up with respective DGT/IT teams to ensure timely responses to findings based on agreed timelines with the audit team.
- Process Improvement:
Continuously review and improve the DGT/IT audit process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining audit activities.
Qualifications
- Good experience in project management.
- Preferred certifications: CISA or CISSP.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple medium to large collaborative activities with cross-functional stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
- Strong and impactful presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Experience in conceptualizing creative solutions and presenting them to management and leads within the organization.
- Experience in driving organizational changes and the ability to inspire and motivate individuals at all levels.
- Professional program/project management certification is an advantage.
