Overview

Play a critical role in shaping strategic engagement and policy understanding in the vaccination space in Taipei, Taiwan.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze key stakeholders—ranging from healthcare providers and government officials to policy experts—in the Taiwan vaccination ecosystem.
  • Lead direct engagement with targeted stakeholders to gather insights, perspectives, and contextual understanding related to vaccination policy.
  • Facilitate local-level meetings, interviews, and consultations as part of broader policy landscape assessments
  • Support research efforts through local interviews, on-the-ground insights, and validation of data gathered via desktop research.
  • Organize and support high-impact meetings by coordinating logistics, preparing briefing materials, documenting discussions, and ensuring timely follow-up on key action points.
  • Provide biweekly updates on developments in vaccine-related policies, regulations, and decisions from government bodies, healthcare institutions, and academic sources.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for timely analysis of emerging policy shifts or relevant health sector activities.
  • Attend and report on significant public consultations, conferences, and private roundtables as needed.

 

To succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2–3 years of experience in public health, public policy, political science, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare, health-focused government units, or health-focused NGOs
  • Strong understanding of Taiwan health policy environment, especially immunization or infectious disease program
  • Experience in vaccination programs or immunization policy is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with the regulatory or legislative processes related to healthcare in Taiwan
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills (must also be fluent in English)
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage relationships, and deliver quality outputs on tight timelines
