Job Purpose
This role serves as a critical bridge between sales and technical teams, with a strong focus on understanding client needs and aligning analytics and consulting solutions to meet those requirements.
The position requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to clearly articulate how data‑driven solutions can address client challenges and deliver business value, particularly within the Philippine market.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Solution Engagement
- Analyze customer requirements through RFPs, discussions, and discovery sessions to understand business goals and challenges
- Design and propose tailored analytics or consulting solutions aligned with client needs
- Develop and present solution concepts and recommendations to key client decision‑makers
- Address client questions related to technical, business, and process considerations
Proposal & Pre‑Sales Support
- Prepare detailed proposals outlining scope, effort estimates, pricing, and delivery timelines
- Support pre‑sales activities by demonstrating solution value and potential process improvements
Delivery & Project Management
- Develop project plans and support the formation of delivery teams
- Define and communicate data requirements to clients
- Assess data quality and data sufficiency for analytical use
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout delivery
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget expectations
- Present interim updates and final deliverables to stakeholders
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long‑term collaboration
- Identify opportunities for cross‑sell and up‑sell within existing client engagements
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Banking, or a related field
(Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a bank, consulting firm, or similar organization, with exposure to credit risk management and predictive modeling
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Solid understanding of lending processes and credit lifecycle data
Technical & Domain Expertise
- Experience with predictive analytics techniques, including regression and machine learning, particularly in the credit risk domain
- Strong knowledge of credit scorecards used in origination, customer management, collections, and regulatory practices
- Experience supporting pre‑sales, consulting, or project delivery for credit risk or regulatory solutions
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Good to Have
- Working knowledge of data processing and modeling tools (e.g., Python, R, or similar languages)
- Familiarity with credit bureau data and its application in lending decisions
- Prior experience in process consulting or analytics pre‑sales
- Exposure to regulatory compliance, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL) modeling aligned with IFRS 9 / PFRS 9
- Understanding of financial statements and ratio analysis
